Ambulance & Transportation: Covers transportation to the nearest hospital for essential treatment.
Chronic Care: Provides up to $25 per day for care in a hospital, nursing home, or by a nurse at home, for conditions unlikely to improve or worsen in the next 12 months.
Hospital Accommodation: Covers private room and board, including government-authorized co-payments for accommodation in a nursing home when treatment is acute, convalescent, or palliative.
Nursing Care: Covers home nursing services from a registered or licensed practical nurse in Canada. Pre-care assessment is required.
Injury Treatment for Natural Teeth: Covers treatment for accidental injury to sound natural teeth when started within 60 days and completed within 12 months.

Flash Glucose Machines
Blood Glucose Monitoring Machines: Lifetime maximum of $250
Continuous Glucose Monitors: Up to $4,000Â per calendar year.
Insulin Pumps: Full reimbursement for the initial purchase, and $5,000Â every three years for replacements.
Hearing and Speech Aids:
Hearing Aids: Up to $2,000Â every 60 months (excluding accessories).
Speech Aids: Up to $4,000Â every five calendar years.
Breathing Equipment:
Covers oxygen and breathing machines like CPAP machines and dental sleep apnea devices (limited to one device every five years).
Orthopedic Equipment:
Includes braces, custom-made foot orthotics, orthopedic shoes, and cervical collars.
Orthotics and orthopedic shoes are covered up to $300Â for children under 20 and $500Â for others.
Prosthetic Equipment:
Covers artificial eyes, standard artificial limbs, external breast prostheses (once per year), and surgical brassieres (four per lifetime).
Mobility Aids:
Includes canes, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, mechanical patient lifters (one lifter every 5 years, up to $2,000), and outdoor wheelchair ramps (up to $2,000 per lifetime).
Other Medical Supplies:
Covers hospital beds, colostomy supplies, catheters, transcutaneous nerve stimulators, compression hose (up to 2 pairs per year), wigs for cancer patients ($500 per lifetime), and more.
Smoking Cessation: Up to $1,500Â per calendar year for cessation products.
